Wild Goose Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Seattle

Hi there everyone, it’s Emma here with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

If you’ve ever been to visit Seattle, you know the fall could be beautiful here. It also can drizzle a little bit. Alright, maybe sometimes a lot. But this Wild Goose Chase didn’t slow down or stop just because of a little rain. The teams went out in full force and had a blast. Running around downtown Seattle checking all the sites. They went to places like the Art Museum, EMP, Pike Place Market and the sculpture park. With the finish of the Irish pub, the teams were looking for some more main up. We went to the challenges a lot of their favorites; I got to hear about how the teams shared leadership roles to get things done. It was such a great experience for everyone in the company.

Apprentice Corporate Team Building Activity in Metamora, Ohio

Hey there everyone! It’s Emma with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

I just wrapped up an event in Metamora, Ohio, it’s a very small town outside of Toledo. I was driving out and I thought I might be lost in the middle of nowhere. Eventually I found the company site and I’m glad I did, this group was in for a really fun evening. They did a Charity Bike Buildevent, a little different than most. They were very secretive. Teams went off on all directions to build and decorate so they could be mysterious. Also, they hardly use any of the supplies or tools I brought for them. They got really creative and found new ways to accomplish the goals I set. In the end, it all paid off with some awesome bikes. The area that they really shined in was the ending commercials and ads for their creations. Teams took it seriously, well, kind of, to make the best video presentations they could. Amazing work! The charity, at the end, was the really best part for the client. Amy’s Garden works for children with disabilities, giving families hope. The group was really humbled by the presentation and loved giving back to their community.

Cake Creators Corporate Team Building Activity in Alabama

Hi There! It’s Emma with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

Fall in the south can be muggy but a great time. Cobbler, pies, gumbo, I love visiting Alabama. This group also had food on the brain with our Cake Creators event. It was a 50th anniversary, company retreat week, and they chose to come together and celebrate with food. This all female staff of educators really rolled up their sleeves to design and decorate some winning cakes. All the materials were provided, they just needed to bring their imagination and creativity to life. It was awesome to watch them grow and learn from each other as the event went on. There was a lot of fun and support in this room for the event. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed eating the cakes at the finish, with the rest of them being donated to a local shelter.

Minute to Win It Corporate Team Building Activity in Redwood

Hi everyone, it’s Emma with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

Thinking about having a quick break in between your meetings?

Or need something to fill the gap in the day, lunch or dinner?

The Minute to Win It challenge could be the perfect fit. This group took 1 hour off to leave their meetings and have some fun. This was a slightly customized version of our event. It had over a hundred participants and 16 teams. So it’s definitely some fast paced madness. Everyone got to try their hand at the challenges. The teams went in for dinner and meanwhile, I pulled out all managers up on stage for one last hilarious challenge. We awarded some prizes and the groups were all smiles.

Wild Goose Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Las Vegas

Hi! It’s Emma with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

I was just out visiting exciting Vegas. This city is a full of light and entertainment, we’re definitely growing a lot in this area. But I think on this day, our teams were providing some of the entertainment on the strip with a Wild Goose Chase. From hand stands to hair dye, to synchronized swimming, this group had a blast! When they arrived back on the shuttle, it was obvious to me that they have gone to know each other really well. The pictures proved that this group knows how to have fun, work together and get things done.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in San Diego

Hey there everyone, it’s Emma here with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

I’m reporting back from sunnyful San Diego. A local company to California decided to get to know the Southern region a little bit better in a whole new way with our Amazing Chase. This adventure took them to some well known attractions as well as a few they’ve never heard of. There was the Navy statue down by the pier, then we went to the quaint seaport village, there were a lot of local shops and museums involved in the ride as well. Almost all of the team made it back on time. One team did make a few detours and drink breaks along their way. Once everyone was back, I overheard them talking a lot about how much fun and skillful they thought their co-workers were. Some of them can sing, break dance, and were really out going. All in all it was a great day for everyone.

Minute to Win It Corporate Team Building Activity in Chicago

Hi there! This is Emma with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

I truly forgot how cold Chicago can get. I really should have packed a better coat for this trip, but that’s ok because this group picked a great indoor event. We ran our Minute to Win It challenges for them in Buffalo Grove, just outside of Chicago. This was held at a great golf club at the clubhouse indoors. I do have to say, I think everyone was surprise by the crazy challenges and even more surprised to see their co-workers competitive spirits take over. One of the biggest moments of the afternoon came during the team cheer off. One participant started to sing and boy she had an amazing voice! Everyone in the room went crazy cheering her on. It was such a great moment during the day. There were many others such as trying to swing bananas around or a seemingly simple idea like keeping the balloons in the air. All their skills were put to the test today and I think they really enjoyed the challenge.

The Apprentice Corporate Team Building Acitvity in Wisconsin

Hi again everyone! It’s Emma here with another American Outback Adventures & Events update for you.

Beautiful September Fall weather led me out to Wisconsin for my first time. We ran a great indoor event over there, it’s called TheApprentice. The event combines hard work, creativity, and some listening skills with your co-workers. The teams built their bikes, came up with some great decorating and art work themes, then of course, everyone’s favourite part – the commercials. This is where this group really shined. 2 of the teams used media in the room to add slides and photo to theirs, another team had the perfect music picked out to go along with their commercial, and one team even shot a whole video ad, placed it up on YouTube and then just played it for everyone to watch. In the end, of course the bikes went to some very special and deserving children, found for us through the United Way.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Cleveland

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & events.

Today we held an Amazing Chase for a highly competitive networking group in Cleveland, Ohio. The client running this event was hosting the annual organizational conference for its very first time and wanted to provide an activity that would appeal to his type A team. We also added 3 custom challenges to the course to appeal to the group. The first custom challenge was a field goal kicking competition at a lake side Grinevich Bicentennial park. It was a beautiful venue and the teams got a chance to kick their football to victory. The second custom challenge was a beer tasting challenge. We enlisted the Barley house and put 4 seasonal beers on tab. Each got a flight of beer tasters and had to correctly identify the beers in order from a list of 8 various kraft beers. The final challenge was called “Breaking the Bank” and it took place at Horseshoe casino. Each team was provided $50 in chips and had 15 minutes on the clock. The goal was to be the team that returned to the most chips in that 15 minutes by the end of the chase. The winner of this challenge brought back $350 in chips. The team stormed through this chase, finishing in an average of 1 hour and 20 minutes at a local restaurant for food and drinks. It was a great day to be outside in Cleveland and the participants were all hot, but happy to come home. Another successful custom Amazing Chase here in Cleveland.

Minute to Win It Corporate Team Building Activity in Dallas

Hey there! This is Emma with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

Well, I just wrapped up the most festive and high energy Minute to Win It in Dallas, Texas ever! This event can truly work in so many venues. This time, it was a Mexican restaurant. While the group was on one side, eating and drinking their dinner, my team was setting up a party just on the other side of the wall. Once we opened up the doors, everyone was welcoming by all the lights, balloons and their company colors everywhere. We got everyone into teams quickly and then put them head to head against each other in some pretty interesting challenges. I don’t think anyone expected to see their boss with pantyhose on his head, or their manager trying to balance M&Ms on a straw. It really got the teams comfortable with each other and it showed off their skills in a whole new way.
