GPS Geocache - Corporate Team Building Activity in St Louis

Hi! This is Emma from American Outback Adventures & Events.

And I’m here to talk about and share our wonderful GPS Geocache scavenger hunt. This one, not only test people physically, but mentally. It puts the teams under pressure to solve puzzles, use technology, get creative, time management, resource management, it’s all in there. This event is well rounded and a lot of fun. It can be done in any location, rural, cities, it’s great; any sized team. This group had a lot of fun, they got to check out the sites of St. Louis, check out all of the ballpark village, it was great, there was gonna be a game later that evening. Once they found all of the challenges, they came back, met me for a closing at a local bar. Everyone had a great time, talking about the challenges, watching videos and photos from the day and just hanging out. I think that they all really learned something about their co-workers, how to work together and how to have a good time.

Minute To Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in San Francisco

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We have just finished a Minute to Win It program for a group of nurses from a nursing union across the US, Canada and Europe. This is the second of 2 events back to back we did with this specific group. The day before we did a CI program and the second day we did a Minute to Win It. The group had a fantastic time, we had 6 teams of about 8 on a team. They competed head to head in a series of challenges, testing their cerebral and physical limits. We had a variety of challenges as mentioned. The group had a fantastic time, they were all a loud bunch, very energetic and encouraging, they had a fantastic time. The couldn’t stop talking about how much fun it was and that they never did anything quite like this, so there was no hesitation from the group leader that they be using us again in the future, so great news and a great event all around.

Urban Fear Factor - Corporate Team Building Activity in Denver

Hi! This is Emma from American Outback Adventures & Events.

And I want to just share a little bit of the photos and adventure from a recent Urban Fear Factor. This one is great! If you’ve got teams love doing things outside of the ordinary, want to work on their bravery, their people skills, getting outside their comfort zone and of course, some creative, outside of the box thinking. This challenge has it all. There are tons of challenges ranging in point value in the list and teams can pick and choose and try to rock themselves to the top of the leaderboard. Everybody has a great time on this one because it’s so high energy and so unique. The challenges are a lot of fun, they really get people to test their limits, and of course, once you see your boss, your co-worker, anybody, having this much fun, goofiness and craziness, you’ll of course become their new best friend and be able to work with them on any projects. I love how this breaks down barriers between people at a company. I can’t tell when I look at the group who the management is, who the employees are, and where they’re from. It kinda evens the playing field and people just love this event.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Acitivity in Schaumburg, Illinois

Hi everyone! It’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We have just finished an Apprentice in Schaumburg, Illinois, for a group of medical products manufacturers. They came in from international corners of the world and all got together for an annual summit that they do every other year, so this is a really great opportunity for the employees of this company to meet up and be with their co-workers and spend time together. We did our Apprentice activity for them, so they were building children’s bicycles that we were then donating to the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago. The Boys and Girls club were able to be on site, we had 4 kids and a couple of representatives from the club. Got to talk a little bit about where the bikes go, and it was really a good way to merge that connection between the building of the bike and actually seeing the children’s face when they got to receive the bikes, so it was a really good, well rounded event and that experience of having a kid on site, to really see the “wow” factor, really tied it in for them.

Corporate Castaways - Corporate Team Building Activity in Bellingham

Hi! This is Emma from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Just reporting back from another successful summer Corporate Castaways, summer time is the perfect time to run this event. It’s outdoors, can be done in a lot of locations, it’s physical, mental, exciting and always a challenge for any team. This one really puts communication, leadership skills, and of course, creativity to the test. Teams have to work together in all sorts of different situations, and what I really like about this group is they realized they had to figure out who their strong players were in each challenge and it was always different. So people had different things to contribute throughout the day and they really got the chance to learn about their co-workers and learn how to rely on them, ask them questions and get great performance out of each person. As you can see from all the photos, they had a blast. It was a beautiful setting and a lot of fun.

Getting To Know You - Corporate Team Building Activity in Las Vegas

Hi everyone, this is Emma from American Outback Adventures & Events.

And Vegas is definitely one of our hot spots in the last couple of years for new events. It completely makes sense as there’s so much action, conventions, meetings, planning and new technology being released here all the time. It’s a great place to get your company together, have some fun, grow, learn, and of course, see the sites. So for this event, it was a GettingTo Know You event and it was done on our app, this one is perfect if you have a lot of employees that travel remotely, don’t get to see each other that often, or you feel just could get to know their co-workers a little bit better. The questions are designed to be talked about, shared, get stories, laugh and learn. This was a great event held at one of the Vegas ballrooms, we were able to put up photos during the whole thing so teams could see things as they were happening up on the big screen. We had a little “Show and Tell” at the end where people got to share a few stories around the room, and of course, share all of the memories.

Code Break - Corporate Team Building Activity in Chicago

Hi everyone, Emma here from American Outback Adventures & Events.

The videos you see now are from our Code Break event that was just run recently in Chicago for our group of high powered executives. These people are up and coming movers and shakers and they wanted to be put to the test mentally. So our Code Break was a perfect fit for them. This was after dinner and it was late at night but we wanted to see what their mental stamina could be. So we got them into teams and got them working on our Code Break challenges. These kinds of things can be anywhere from trivia to mental problems, to visual, geometric issues. So there’s a lot going on there and a lot of work, but the teams really took to it. They were all focused, having a great time, and really competitive. The leaderboard was up for everyone to view and they kept working hard all throughout the couple of hours during this event. They really wanted to earn points and move up the leaderboard list. In the end, I was surprised at how many challenges they got through in just a couple of hours. How many questions they got right and just how smart this group was. I think they all surprised themselves as well with just how hard working and creative the group really could be when they all put their minds to it.
