Hi everyone! It’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures
& Events with another corporate event update.
We have just finished an Apprentice in Schaumburg, Illinois,
for a group of medical products manufacturers. They came in from international
corners of the world and all got together for an annual summit that they do
every other year, so this is a really great opportunity for the employees of
this company to meet up and be with their co-workers and spend time together.
We did our Apprentice activity for them, so they were building children’s
bicycles that we were then donating to the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago. The
Boys and Girls club were able to be on site, we had 4 kids and a couple of
representatives from the club. Got to talk a little bit about where the bikes
go, and it was really a good way to merge that connection between the building
of the bike and actually seeing the children’s face when they got to receive
the bikes, so it was a really good, well rounded event and that experience of
having a kid on site, to really see the “wow” factor, really tied it in for them.
