Play It Forward - Corporate Team Building Activity in Des Moines

Hi, it’s Jules with another corporate event update with American Outback Adventures & Events.

It was a beautiful day in Des Moines, Iowa, where we hosted our Play It Forward event for a local property management company who was celebrating their 30^th Anniversary. This group had 60 participants ranging from 25 years with the company to only 4 days. So the goal for this event was to provide an opportunity for everyone to get to know their colleagues a bit better, all while giving back to their community. A community they have been such a big part of over the years. Teams made their way outside to the streets of Des Moines and had a blast completing all the random acts of kindness, they teamed up with other teams and there was even 1 team who managed to give blood as their top good deed for the day. Upon return, the group was all smiles and had plenty of fun and heart warming stories to share with each other.

Play It Forward - Corporate Team Building Activity in Texas

Hi everyone! This is Emma from American Outback Adventures & Events.

And I’m here to report one of our newer events. It’s called Play It Forward and we just ran one for an animal shelter in Texas, and these volunteers, employees, and sponsors got to get together and do something amazing. Their jobs already are crucial to the area, but then, they went out and gave back more to their community. This event features on tasks and challenges done in our smartphone app, that focus on giving back to the community and the city, locals, tourists, everyone. One of the challenges is to buy a cup of coffee for somebody or bring a city worker a snack. Things like this, leave a note under someone’s car, pay somebody a compliment, you know, do nice things for your co-workers. This event is a lot of fun and groups really bond over the experience of giving back and making people’s day a little bit brighter.
