Marybeth here from American Outback Adventures & Events with
another corporate event update.
We ran our philanthropic Apprentice event last week just
outside of DC, in McLean, Virginia for a large accounting firm. This client met
at the beautiful Hilton for 2 hours of fun and excitement. Participants were
creatively placed into 4 teams and asked to assemble a children’s bike. Teams
customized their bikes and came up with a skit or advertising campaign to
showcase their creation and win over their colleagues to become the Apprentice
champions. The event took place after the participant’s meeting where food and
drinks were served throughout the event. Participants thoroughly got into the
event and found their inner child, creating and building extremely unique ideas
for their bikes and presentations. In the end, 1 team rose to the top and was
crowned coveted role of the Apprentice. To complete the event, the children’s
bikes were being donated to our military kids, and a representative from the
charity came to speak about the organization and to who the bikes were
benefiting. This was a wonderful way to wrap up a great evening by giving back
to the community.
