American Outback Adventures & Events hosted a Crime Investigators team building event for an international client in Atlanta,
Georgia.
This event brought together a team of people who worked
together each day in different countries around the world, many of whom had
never met in person before. Their goals were to build camaraderie among the
team and focus on root cause analysis. This event required teams to locate five
different crime scenes, collect evidence, document the scenes and ultimately
solve the crime. There were five specific roles on each team and the participants
each chose a role that best highlighted their skills. Working together in
teams, the participants used close observation, creativity and critical
thinking to determine who committed the crime. Real police officers happened to
be having lunch at the hotel café and one team even interrogated them, thinking
they were part of the event. Another team interacted with hotel guests, asked
if they had committed a murder recently. Overall, the teams were successful in
digging down to specific details, finding the motive and culprit, and solving
the crime. And they had a blast along the way.
