Crime Investigators - Corporate Team Building Activity in Cancun

This is Jordan with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Our latest event was the Crime Investigators experience planned for an HVAC company from the Eastern United States and Canada. American Outback’s Crime Investigators experience separated the group in a specialized crime investigative teams. Within the CI team, individuals took on specific roles to assist the team with the investigation. Each team worked and locate to visit the crime scenes, collect and analyze the evidence, and ultimately solve the crime. We had the pleasure of hosting our CI event at the gorgeous Paradis Resort in Cancun, Mexico. One of the best features about the event was the diverse settings teams were able to experience as they made their way from crime scene to crime scene. From informants at the pool side bar, to a major murder scene on the 9th hole at the golf course, this CI truly had it all and felt like we’re part of the show. The group worked beautifully together, piecing together the evidence, delivered outstanding press releases and ultimately solving the mystery. The suspense continued as we announced the winning team and crowned them with not only bragging rights, but American Outback’s coveted gold medals.

Crime Investigators - Corporate Team Building Activity in Greenville

This group of banking professionals met in Falls Park in Greenville, South Carolina for our Crime Investigators event.

After they learned about forensics and selected individual roles on their teams, the group left our headquarters to explore the park, visit the crime scenes, and collect evidence. The teams encountered our agents in the field, an informant, and some suspicious characters. When we met back at headquarters, the teams turned in the biological evidence they collected in the field and began piecing together the crime. Teams used time management, problem solving skills, non-linear critical thinking and collaboration to determine the motivation for the crime and the main suspects. Overall, the group found this event engaging, challenging and a great way to build trust and camaraderie amongst their colleagues.

Crime Investigators - Corporate team Building Activity in Michigan

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we did a Crime Investigators in Southfield, Michigan, just 20 minutes north of Detroit. We setup crime scenes today inside the lab building of our client’s company campus. We had teams collecting DNA, negotiating with the very needy confidential informant and analyzing and comparing imprints in the lab. It was a very detailed oriented group today and many teams actually did solve the crime. But of course, their creativity and their crime scene sketches and media briefings are what brought one team to victory to become our Crime Investigator champions today. It was a great CI with American Outback today.

Crime Investigators - Corporate Team Building Activity in Atlanta

American Outback Adventures & Events hosted a Crime Investigators team building event for an international client in Atlanta, Georgia.

This event brought together a team of people who worked together each day in different countries around the world, many of whom had never met in person before. Their goals were to build camaraderie among the team and focus on root cause analysis. This event required teams to locate five different crime scenes, collect evidence, document the scenes and ultimately solve the crime. There were five specific roles on each team and the participants each chose a role that best highlighted their skills. Working together in teams, the participants used close observation, creativity and critical thinking to determine who committed the crime. Real police officers happened to be having lunch at the hotel café and one team even interrogated them, thinking they were part of the event. Another team interacted with hotel guests, asked if they had committed a murder recently. Overall, the teams were successful in digging down to specific details, finding the motive and culprit, and solving the crime. And they had a blast along the way.

Crime Investigators - Corporate Team Building Activity in Woodstock

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had a Crime Investigators in the beautiful Woodstock Inn, located in Woodstock, Vermont. Today was a radiant example of how we run our events come rain, shine or in our case today, historic blizzard. Despite 2 feet of snow dropping down, road closures and driving bans, we still made it to Woodstock Inn to run this Crime Investigators for 150 international participants. We worked closely with the venue to pin point crime scene locations that would work with, if not add to, the function of the event, but also have enough space to avoid bottle necking with the large team numbers we are working with. Teams braved the snow, a messy crime scene and tried their tongues at persuading informants to gather information and ultimately solve the crime. It was a great way to shake that blizzard cabin fever and get their conference attendees interacting.

Crime Investigators Corporate Team Building Activity in Houston

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate update.

We have just finished our Crime Investigators event in downtown Houston at one of the well known hotels in downtown. The group was an admin team from an oil company with a mixture of ages, abilities and seniority with the company. They had a great time. They were probably a little hesitant at first to get into it but by the end of it they were showing all kinds of signs of improvement and communication, and they were smiling, they had a great time. They were much closer, visually as a team, than when we first got them in the room. Even seeing them with immediate improvement, I thought they had a great time, they were really well organized and they work together to solve our crime and determine who our villain is. It was a very good event, they had a, like I said, a fantastic time.

Crime Investigators Corporate Team Building Activity in Cleveland

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had a Crime Investigators in Cleveland, Ohio. Snow is falling all around us today, but luckily, at today’s crime investigators we had full access to inside the Q Arena downtown. The contact we worked with at the Q was accommodating and excited for the event and we were able to utilize some very cool spaces. The participants today were this particular company’s leadership team, 24 men and 1 woman. Teams loved that the event was hands-on and required an in-depth analysis of the evidence. They kept saying it was the coolest thing they’ve ever done - A very happy client and a very proud coordinator here in Cleveland, Ohio tonight.
