Code Break - Corporate Team Building Activity in Chicago

Hi everyone, Emma here from American Outback Adventures & Events.

The videos you see now are from our Code Break event that was just run recently in Chicago for our group of high powered executives. These people are up and coming movers and shakers and they wanted to be put to the test mentally. So our Code Break was a perfect fit for them. This was after dinner and it was late at night but we wanted to see what their mental stamina could be. So we got them into teams and got them working on our Code Break challenges. These kinds of things can be anywhere from trivia to mental problems, to visual, geometric issues. So there’s a lot going on there and a lot of work, but the teams really took to it. They were all focused, having a great time, and really competitive. The leaderboard was up for everyone to view and they kept working hard all throughout the couple of hours during this event. They really wanted to earn points and move up the leaderboard list. In the end, I was surprised at how many challenges they got through in just a couple of hours. How many questions they got right and just how smart this group was. I think they all surprised themselves as well with just how hard working and creative the group really could be when they all put their minds to it.

Wild Goose Chase -Corporate Team Building Activity in Denver

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We have just finished our Wild Goose Chase program in downtown Denver for a group of, or actually it was a chain of grocery store managers. The event itself was two hours and it took teams throughout the downtown Denver area – a very populated space so they worked fantastically for the group’s interaction with the public while completing challenges within their team and taking photos of the great scenery and architecture Denver has to offer. They had a fantastic time, we wrapped up at a local restaurant, everyone was able to talk about their stories, and experiences and really get some good feedback from the event and the group themselves.

Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Boston

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had a custom scavenger hunt in Boston, Massachusetts. The group today were about 130 people coming in from all over the world – Belgium, Germany, France and various areas in the UK. Some of those people did not speak or read English very well We designed sightseeing scavenger hunt for them to come in, visit two major Boston scenes – Boston commons and Faneuil Hall marketplace and complete five challenges at each location to earn points with their team. We worked with the events company bringing them in to translate our documents into various languages per document. So no team had a disadvantage. Teams spent the afternoon playing leap frog with the Make Way for Ducklings statue, counting swan boats, saying hello to the seals at the aquarium and singing Aerosmith at the Hard Rock CafĂ©.

Minute to Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in New York

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had a Minute To Win It in Brooklyn, New York. Today’s group were the administrative teams from a bunch of New York state schools. They were ready to rock this morning with a bright and early 8:00 a.m. start time. We were outdoors today, which typically poses a few different roadblocks for us. But it was nothing we couldn’t handle. Teams flipped poker chips, stacked pyramids, and passed marshmallows in the ocean air, and did it all with a smile.

Beach Olympics - Corporate Team Building Activity in Cancun

Hello! Miguel here with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

Today, the setup for this Beach Olympic activity was a beautiful beach in Cancun, Mexico. A group of 200 very energetic and competitive people from an HVAC company were divided into teams and they faced each other in a series of eight challenges that tested their communication, time management, trust and teamwork. In the end, there can only be one of them to be the winning team. This team worked together as a team and supported each other throughout the entire event and came on top.

Custom Event - Corporate Team Building Activity in Ashville

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had a 300 person Custom event for a loud and fun group down in Ashville, North Carolina. Today’s event started by breaking this sizable group up into teams of 10, with roughly 30 teams, we then split the teams into two sub groups – 15 red and 15 blue. Over the first hour of the event, teams competed against other teams in their color group to play mini games with everyday items to earn points for their team. It was hot in that room but also very loud with laughter. After the games wrapped up, the massive people moved into a second event space. Here, we combined one red and one blue team, and their budgets to create a group of 20. Teams then worked together to use pre-provided items, craft supplies, and a few creative guidelines to create a free standing structure out of donate-able items. They used their budget from the first part of the event to purchase items from our American Outback pantry to create art sculptures made completely out of foods, toothpaste, soap and other food bank necessities. At the conclusion of the event, all of these items were donated to a local food bank. That was two vans filled with donate-able items. Overall, today’s custom event was a fun, energetic, and creative way for this team to engage their employees, break away from their meetings for a bit, and give back to their community.

Minute to Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Lexington

Hi, I’m Bradley with American Outback Adventures & Events.

On Friday, May 2nd, we had a really fun Minute To Win It in Lexington, Massachusetts. The participants were mostly scientist and not everyone knew each other. Minute To Win It offered a great experience for team members to learn about each other and understand their co-workers. The participants let loose and enjoyed themselves immensely, with much laughter, especially during the “Head Bangers” challenge.

Signing off, I’m Bradley with American Outback Adventures& Events.
