The Apprentice Corporate Team Building Activity in Texas

Well howdy everyone! It’s Emma with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

I have to say that Texas in September is pretty nice, a little muggy and windy, but pretty warm at least. Here in the woodlands outside of Houston, I just wrapped up our Apprentice bike build. It was a pretty small group but the sharing, creativity and teamwork that came out of this was really something. We worked with the company’s chosen charity. They partner with them often, It’s United Way, I know that the group was really motivated and touched to hear the stories of where the bikes were going. Their special creations, decorations and hard work were gonna be so loved by some local children in need. When the charity came out and told them the children and their stories and lives and that they will be receiving these brand new bicycles, everyone in the group really worked hard to get their creations to be unique, fun and really gonna surprise those kids.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Chattanooga

Hey everyone! it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures &Events with another corporate event update.

We’ve just finished an Amazing Chase in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee for a group of marketing professionals coming from all over the Southern States of America. They got together and did a 3 day conference and we were the highlight of their 3 day by putting them to our Amazing Chase activity throughout the downtown Chattanooga area. They had a fantastic time; they got to choose the sites and the gorgeous nature that is Chattanooga. While seeing the sites, they got to complete in the variety of eight challenges that took them about 2 and a half hours over the course of the day. They had a fantastic time and came back with nothing but positive things to say.

The Apprentice and GPS Geocache Corporate Team Building Activity in San Francisco

Hi! It’s Emma here with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

Starting out the fall season right, beautiful view of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge from the Cavallo Point Resort. My team just love getting to run a double event on property. We started off the day working with the teams on our Apprentice Charity Bike Build. I couldn’t believe how well everyone worked together, they got tasks done and they helped out their opposing teammates too. My favourite part of this event was always the finish for 2 reasons. First, because of all the great commercials the teams act out and secondly, because of the charity coming out to accept the bikes. This time we worked with the Oak school, and couldn’t have been more perfect timing for them. They were fund raising for recreational equipment and it worked out great that their kids with special needs would receive these bikes.

After lunch, the teams came back and got assigned new teammates. They got a quick lesson on our GPS challenge and headed out for 10 fun and interesting places. Each one had its own challenge that they had to complete before they receive their passport stamp. I was surprised that a few teams made it all 10 stops, but everyone was glad the weather held out for a great afternoon outside.

Secret Agent 007 Corporate Team Building Activity in Las Vegas

Hey there everyone! It’s Emma here with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

What could be better than leaving your cold city in the fall and taking your awesome co-workers to Vegas? How about a 007 themed teambuilding event for the afternoon? Secret codes, poker, Martini tasting, they’re the perfect group activity for the Vegas strip. All wrapped up with some great team work, problem solving and a day of learning new things about the people you work with everyday. This group had earned their 007 status in and around the Wynn property, visiting several secret locations and solving the mystery. They were of course rewarded at the end and everyone had a great time doing it.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in New Orleans

Hey everybody, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We have just finished an Amazing Chase in New Orleans, Louisiana down in the Waterfront. We did a group of 30 people from the oral health services industry. They got to see a lot of the downtown New Orleans French quarter area as well as the CBD. This group was a group of locals so we did customize the course for them to ensure that they hadn’t visited the spots that we had chosen for them repeatedly in the past. Everyone had a great time and was well received even due to hot weather and humidity they had a fun time.

Corporate Castaways Corporate Team Building Activity in Cambridge

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had a Corporate Castaways in beautiful, sunny Cambridge, Massachusetts. For today’s event we vetted nearly a dozen various parks in Cambridge. We wanted to be within walking distance of our client but still have a park that would be appropriate for the various challenges a Corporate Castaways entails, and we hit the jackpot with Gold Star Mother’s Park. This park had grass, hills, trees and even a baseball diamond, various terrains for diversity of challenges. The big hit today were Blind Leading the Blind, Mind Scramble, and True or False. This team of 80 people flexed their communication skills to truly excel in these missions. Overall, it was a beautiful and fun morning in Cambridge.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Philadelphia

Hi there everyone! It’s Emma here with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

I want to share a great event with you, it’s our AmazingChase. It’s a customized race and scavenger hunt, and this September I ran one in Philly for a group of high energy professionals. Some of their favourite challenges were creating their own flag outside of the Betsy Ross House where the original American flag hangs or visiting the Liberty Bell to come up with their own team jingles. This was a great city for the teams to get out and explore, plus, the finish line was at National Mechanics Bar and Restaurant, teams were really motivated to finish the course in record time to get there and have some of their delicious food.

The Apprentice Corporate Team Building Activity in Boston

Hi there, Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had The Apprentice in Boston, Massachusetts. Today’s group was a bunch of computer savvy introverts that took over their campus’ cafeteria for a few hours of out of their comfort team building. Each team got a children’s bicycle that they needed to build, customize with decorations and create an innovative marketing campaign for.

This team took a little warming up at first but all had completely unique presentations of their own. Bikes were donated to the boys and girls club of Boston and a representative from the organization was able to come out and talk to the group about the great things that they do in the community and what was next for the bikes.

The client was very happy with how the event brought their team out of their shells and got everyone mingling with people they don’t necessarily interact with on a day to day basis. It was a great successful Apprentice here in Boston today.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in New Jersey

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had an Amazing Chase in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. There’s a large park in Cherry Hill called Cooper Mill Park. It is 4 miles around with walking trails, soft ball fields, memorials, yacht clubs and other attractions. Our client decided to add a team building aspect to their annual sales rep conference and that this park placed was the place to hold it. Typically our Amazing Chases are on urban areas with multiple routes available to take from one station to the next. This park provided a round, singular trail from one station to the next. To compensate for the time not being used to figure out how to get to the next location, we added longer challenges at the stations and several road blocks that were provided during the beginning of chase, but not due until the end. This was an energetic, very enthusiastic group of sales reps, all in from all over the country and they loved their Amazing Chase.
