Crime Investigators - Corporate Team Building Activity in Woodstock

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had a Crime Investigators in the beautiful Woodstock Inn, located in Woodstock, Vermont. Today was a radiant example of how we run our events come rain, shine or in our case today, historic blizzard. Despite 2 feet of snow dropping down, road closures and driving bans, we still made it to Woodstock Inn to run this Crime Investigators for 150 international participants. We worked closely with the venue to pin point crime scene locations that would work with, if not add to, the function of the event, but also have enough space to avoid bottle necking with the large team numbers we are working with. Teams braved the snow, a messy crime scene and tried their tongues at persuading informants to gather information and ultimately solve the crime. It was a great way to shake that blizzard cabin fever and get their conference attendees interacting.

Minute to Win It - Corporate Team Building Acitivity in Trumbull

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we had a Minute to Win It in Trumbull, Connecticut. Today was a radiant example how we will run our events, rain, shine, or in our case, historic blizzard! Despite 2 feet of snow dropping down, road closures, and driving bans, we still made it to the Trumbull Marriot to run this Minute to Win It for 200 technology sales reps. We ran today’s event in our new game show entertainment format, having all 14 teams competing at the same games at the same time. It was hilarious, competitive chaos and the participation was high. Some fan favourites today were stack attack, elephant march, and of course the team cheers. It was a great way to shake off that blizzard cabin fever and get their reps moving and grooving.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Ohio

Hi there everyone, this is Emma from American Outback Adventures & Events and I have another update with a second Apprentice for the same client two weeks in a row.

This one was a different group, the week before was their sales team, and this week was their ops team, and what a completely different experience. This group was younger, rowdier, really ready for a good time. They tried to sabotage each other, support each other in fun, creative ways and really, they were just excited to give these bikes to the charity. When the charity came at the end of the event, they had a lot of questions about the kids, how they would like the bikes, if they could deliver the bikes themselves with all the decorations, they were really excited for these bikes to go to a good home. Also at this event, the teams really got a lot of creativity and energy out of doing their presentations. They worked really hard on them, they practiced them over and over again, set them to music and having a lot of props and costumes that they made themselves. Overall, this group did a great job and, I felt had a really great afternoon at the charity Apprentice bike buildevent.

If you think that your team could benefit from an exciting and wonderful event like this one, please don’t hesitate to call American Outback Adventures & Events' sales team. We’re here and ready to help you create your perfect event.

The Apprentice - Corporate Team Building Activity in Cincinnati

Hi there everyone, this is Emma with another American Outback Adventures & Events update.

I’ve just completed running an Apprentice event in Cincinnati, Ohio, and this is a great event for the winter because it can be done indoors, in a hotel conference space, or an office or any large room that the company has available. So this one was done in a hotel conference room, they had dinner beforehand, the room was all setup for them and after dinner we were able to start right away. This group all knew each other but don’t get the chance to see each other very often, so it was a great chance for them to spend some time together and really work on something different. The group was excited about the charity. They went to their website, they learned about the kids that the charity serviced and they were really looking forward to these bikes going to some place really wonderful, where they'll be loved and well used. The group was a little conservative at first, but quickly their competitive spirit came out and also some of their silly-goofy energy. Towards the end, they started making costumes, dressing up, having songs, and really just having a good time with everyone. I think this event was a huge success for them.

Amazing Chase Corporate Team Building Activity in Las Vegas

Hi there! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today was an Amazing Chase in Las Vegas. Today’s chase was for a small group of 12. These upper management individuals meet in Vegas every year for their annual retreat and they came in from all over the world – Japan, Russia, Poland, Germany, Switzerland and Canada, no one from America. We made this course a tough one, zigzagging across the strip, paying close attention to every detail of the team’s challenges and they just blew it out of the water. Teams sprinted through the course, bringing them by Cesar’s, New York, New York, the Eiffel Tower, and many other well known Vegas attractions. Our winning team today finished the course in 2 hours and 15 minutes, and they had this advice to the other teams as they accepted their medals, “You have to want it, visualize it, and then get it”. A great Amazing Chase here in Vegas.
