Hi everyone, this is Emma from American Outback Adventures
& Events.
I’m here with an update of an event that we just launched,
this one is called Going Live. We ran this event in Seattle. It was a small
group, there were only 2 teams, but that didn’t stop them from having a great
time. Not only did they take it seriously, have fun, but they got to know each
other in a whole new way. The first part of this event is competing in
challenges. They have to earn points, challenge the other team, and figure out a
lot of news related trivia. While doing this, they also have to be writing
their news scripts. This part is the most fun and creative, I think, for the
teams. Not only are they writing about the company but they’re getting to know
each other during this time as well. So they write the news scripts about
what’s going on currently within their team, and they also do a weather report,
predicting what was gonna happen in their team’s future. Then they have 3
minutes to film this recording. At the end of the event, the teams get to watch
each others' news recordings and we all vote on what recording wins. This event
is a lot of fun and it ties in to your company’s goals for that quarter, year
or whatever the meeting might be entailing.
