Hi everyone! This is Emma from American Outback Adventures
& Events.
And I’m here to report one of our newer events. It’s called
Play It Forward and we just ran one for an animal shelter in Texas, and these
volunteers, employees, and sponsors got to get together and do something
amazing. Their jobs already are crucial to the area, but then, they went out
and gave back more to their community. This event features on tasks and
challenges done in our smartphone app, that focus on giving back to the
community and the city, locals, tourists, everyone. One of the challenges is to
buy a cup of coffee for somebody or bring a city worker a snack. Things like
this, leave a note under someone’s car, pay somebody a compliment, you know, do
nice things for your co-workers. This event is a lot of fun and groups really
bond over the experience of giving back and making people’s day a little bit
brighter.
