Minute to Win It - Corporate Team Building Activity in Texas

Hi! This is Emma from American Outback Adventures & Events.

I just finished running one of our amazing Minute to Win It style game show events. This was in Texas and this was a group from a company that needed to have a networking event. A chance for everybody to meet and greet and learn things about each other, get comfortable, and really have a good time. So they started off with a cocktail social hour and then moved in to the room, the ballroom, at the convention center for the Minute to Win It challenges. We had 15 teams and 12 challenges, and the teams got to compete head to head against everybody. I think what really struck me most after this event was when I was talking with the coordinator and she said that she looked around the room and couldn’t tell who the managers were, who the CEO was, who the receptionist was, everybody was on the same playing field and doing the exact same challenges all together. It was such a great bonding experience for everyone and they had a great time.

Art of Giving - Corporate Team Building Activity in Atlanta

Hi There! Shannon here with another corporate event update from American Outback Adventures & Events.

Today we did an Art Of Giving in Atlanta, Georgia. Our client today was having their bi-annual sales leadership meeting and wanted an activity to have fun and give back to the community. The event only lasted an hour and a half and there were some custom elements. We were able to procure additional items from the standard canned goods we typically get for the Art Of Giving. Some of these custom items included back-to-school supplies, shower curtains and silverware. Our client also provided their own product for the event. The event took place on the restaurant patio and all of the supplies were donated to a local VA organization. It was a fantastic fun way to unwind after meetings and give back to the community.

Amazing Chase - Corproate Team Building Activity in New Orleans

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We have just finished an Amazing Chase in downtown New Orleans, in the French Quarter, for a group of distribution and mechanical workers. They were coming in for their first time to New Orleans, had never been there before, the majority of them. Had a fantastic time seeing the sights in the French Quarter and completing challenges leading to the locations. It was a fantastic event to them because they had never been to New Orleans, they got to get out and see the city while exploring and testing their team’s ability to follow very simple instructions, to test their limits, to get them problem solving and strategy, also their navigational skills are put to the test. They had a great time, as mentioned, we finished up at a local restaurant and they were all able to experience the fine cuisine that New Orleans has to offer. The guys, mostly men, that participated had a fantastic time, as mentioned, they were sure to use us again in the future, and couldn’t stop talking about what a great time they had.

Play It Forward - Corporate Team Building Activity in Texas

Hi everyone! This is Emma from American Outback Adventures & Events.

And I’m here to report one of our newer events. It’s called Play It Forward and we just ran one for an animal shelter in Texas, and these volunteers, employees, and sponsors got to get together and do something amazing. Their jobs already are crucial to the area, but then, they went out and gave back more to their community. This event features on tasks and challenges done in our smartphone app, that focus on giving back to the community and the city, locals, tourists, everyone. One of the challenges is to buy a cup of coffee for somebody or bring a city worker a snack. Things like this, leave a note under someone’s car, pay somebody a compliment, you know, do nice things for your co-workers. This event is a lot of fun and groups really bond over the experience of giving back and making people’s day a little bit brighter.

If you think that your company would enjoy an event like this, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the American Outback sales team, we’re here and ready to help you create that perfect event.

Art of Giving - Corporate Team Building Activity in Irvine

Hey guys, this is James with American Outback Adventures & Events with another event and corporate team building report.

Today we are in sunny Irvine, California, at the Hotel Irvine, putting on one of our Art of Giving programs. Now, our client today, we got about a hundred and twenty people, men and women, from all over the world, part of a company that do background checks. Now, these are sales, marketing and admin and we got a great challenge for them. They are going to be building sculptures of the supplies that we provided them. Now the catch is, the interesting part is that these supplies are all canned goods or package goods that are, later, going to be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank to combat hunger here in Orange County. Now the teams got together, they put their resources together, they pool their creative minds. Collaborated and created some uplifting and hilarious sculptures. I saw the Hungry Caterpillar, 2 versions of the Roman Coliseum, a Castle, the Empire State building and after they were done building, they had to present on their sculptures and there were some beautiful moments and touching moments and a lot of laughs. It was a great time, I highly recommend it for your next corporate program.

Going Live - Corporate Team Building Activity in San Jose

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with American Outback Adventures & Events with another corporate event update.

We’ve just finished a Going Live event for a group of liquor distributors in San Jose, California. The group was tasked with coming up with a live broadcast in 2 segments – the first being a weather forecast, and the second being an actual news broadcast. They were tasked with coming with a 3 minute presentation, no longer and no less, and they had to cover topics in which they thought their company was going to be forecasted to complete in the future, as well as what was going on currently with their company. They had a fantastic time, they were completing challenges to earn additional points throughout the day and their presentations turned out amazing. They had such a good time and could not stop talking about it.

Amazing Chase - Corporate Team Building Activity in Fort Worth

Hey everyone, it’s Michelle with American Outback with another corporate event update.

We’ve just finished an Amazing Chase in downtown Fort Worth for a group of bank employees. Our course was condensed with 2 hour program which took participants throughout the downtown Fort Worth area. Many of which, actually most of them, were not from Fort Worth. That was a great opportunity for them to see the sites and get a good understanding of the downtown area. They got to complete a variety of challenges, both road blocks and detours. They had a fantastic time, completed a variety of cerebral and physical challenges and were smiling throughout the entire event. For them it was a great opportunity to meet their co-workers, these were new group of employees from the company, so most of them had not met before, so they were able to meet each other, learn their strengths and potential weaknesses and really pulled together as a team.

It’s a fantastic event and if you would like to plan a great activity like this for your corporate group, contact us online at americanoutback.net.
