Hi there, this is Emma from American Outback Adventures
& Events.
And I am here to let you guys know about our Cake Creators event. This one is perfect if your team is into watching cooking shows,
learning new skills, and putting them to the test. This one is different than
any of our other events cause it has several components. One, most people don’t
already know how to decorate cakes, so all these tools are unfamiliar to them,
they got to learn new technique, pick up skills, work as a team under pressure
and create an edible, delicious concoction. This team’s theme was Disney Pixar,
so all the cakes had a really fun element to them. They turned out amazing, as
you can see from the photos. We had “Cars”, “Up”, “Finding Nemo”, we even had a
“Mr Potato Head” from “Toy Story”, so this one really allowed their creativity
to come out. I heard a lot of people say they’re outside their comfort zone and
that they were happy learning new skills and rely on their co-workers in a new
way. I thought this was amazing feedback and I think that the team really
got a lot out of today. All the cakes were donated to a local shelter, so they
went to a good cause at the end.
